Windows 7 working well but problem arises when upgraded it to Windows 7 Service Pack 1, the gadgets do not work anymore.

As far as this query goes, you will have to try a registry tweak. Go to ‘Start’ and type ‘regedit’ in the ‘Search’ fi eld and press [Enter]. The registry editor will open up and you need to navigate to the key ‘HKEY_ LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\ Settings’. Here, right-click on the right pane of the editor window and create a new ‘DWORD’ with a 32-bit value and name it as ‘AllowElevatedProcess’. Once done, set the value of this new DWORD entry to ‘1’ and close the registry editor. Now restart Windows and check if your gadget works normally.
